About this talk

There are currently more than a dozen categories of female birth control with proven efficacy on the market. Conversely, the only options available for men today are condoms and vasectomy, despite decades of research. No new male contraceptive products have entered the market since the condom was created in the 1800s. This is in part due to challenges in establishing standards for endpoints and study design. As a substantial unmet medical need impacting both sexes, male contraception deserves a lot more attention, funding, and research. In this webinar, learn about the opportunities and benefits of male contraception. In this webinar, we discuss: – How the innovation, advancement, and product development of male contraceptives affect women's health – Investigational male contraceptive methods that are showing promise – The challenges that exist in executing successful clinical trials and how to address them – Best practices for study design and patient engagement Presenters: Clint Dart, MS, Vice President, Biostatistics and Programming, Premier Research Marshika Keith-Vickers, Senior Program Director, Women’s Health, Premier Research Sherri Thomas, RN, Senior Project Manager, Women’s Health, Premier Research
