About this talk

The COVID19 crisis has changed the way we live forever. Many new challenges have been presented to us and at no time has technology been used to assist almost all of humanity at the same time. The power of the internet has been used in conjunction with social media and other technologies to help almost everyone on the planet. It has been suggested that AM can be used to help with the crisis by printing masks, ventilator fittings and other parts that are in short supply at times like this. This is however not the first time that AM has been applied to help in crisis situations. This webinar examines why AM can be particularly useful in these situations, approaches that have been used and what we can do to prepare ourselves for the next time.
