The focus of the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Advanced Manufacturing at the University of Twente is to transfer current research in advanced manufacturing directly into industrial practice. For this, we focus on the development of technological solutions in the area of production processes, production equipment, digital manufacturing and manufacturing value chain organisation. Together with industry, we build synergies to achieve high-tech excellence within the fourth industrial revolution and to train the high-tech talents of tomorrow.

Digital twins hebben een transformatief effect op de productiesector en verbeteren het succespercentage en de productiviteit van de innovatie. Het is duidelijk dat deze techniek en industriële implicaties belangrijk zijn. Maar hoe gebruiken we deze techniek?
