This server configuration has been tested and validated to be fully compliant with the global power industry IEC 61850-3 substation operating standard. ABB’s SSC600 virtualized protection and control software enables the centralization of multiple substation workloads and functions onto a single virtualized substation platform. This software defined platform will provide more functionality by facilitating faster application changes. This improvement in responsiveness and functionality will accelerate the transition to renewable energy sources and strengthen the substation cyber security profile. 

The webinar will also feature the project lead form UK Power Networks, a large Great Britain based distribution network operator (DNO).
