About this talk

Data Modeling decisions drive system architecture and design, as well as dramatically affect network communication content and behavioral patterns. This talk will examine a collection of real-world use cases which exhibit different descriptions of the same information, based on the requirements of the systems in which they are implemented. Concepts to be discussed include: - Data at Rest versus Data in Motion - Uniqueness of data - Conceptual, Logical, Platform levels of Data Modeling - “On the Wire” considerations - Interoperability Attendees will understand that data and its associated behavior are the keys to realizing the benefits of RTI Connext and DDS.
