Data-Centric Communications in Software-Defined Systems: An introduction to DDS

Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) require flexibility from the middleware and networking layers, while maintaining a reliable data flow. This webinar will review the OMG® DDS-TSN standardization efforts to extend DDS with a configuration model and a set of guidelines in order to successfully deploy DDS applications over TSN. DDS turns 20! In 2024, we celebrate 20 years of DDS innovation. Designing and Configuring a DDS-TSN System

The Object Management Group® (OMG®) has recently released the new DDS™ Extensions for Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) specification. This latest addition to the DDS family of specifications leverages the capabilities of the IEEE TSN collection of standards to provide system architects with an integrated solution to build data-centric highly reliable deterministic applications over standard Ethernet.
