About this talk

Next-generation healthcare systems promise to deliver more targeted treatments, improve patient outcomes and lower costs. This vision is becoming a reality as surgical robotics, advanced imaging, and connected patient monitoring transform into intelligent digital ecosystems. Leveraging the right data at the right time enables these systems to collaborate, offering more targeted and effective treatments. The industry is faced with challenges to realize the potential of intelligence and autonomy across the device ecosystem. The complexity caused by device connectivity impedes time-to-market, scalability, and evolution of these systems. State-of-the-art software connectivity is needed to develop flexible systems and address the demanding requirements for reliability, cybersecurity and performance. Based on the DDS connectivity standard, Connext enables surgical robots, imaging systems, and critical care systems to work together as one integrated system, in real-time. This presentation will cover the challenges faced by our customers in the medical market and how Connext is able to overcome them.
