About this talk

In 2010, the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) released their General Vehicle Architecture standard (Def Stan 23-009), widely known as GVA. It defined a set of requirements for the development of military vehicles aimed at reducing project risk, reducing costs and improving equipment capability. In the intervening years, GVA has evolved as lessons have been learned, technology has improved and requirements have changed. This webinar outlines the key technical aspects of GVA. It will focus on how Data Distribution Service (DDS) is used as part of the underlying structure of a GVA based system, and will review some of the more recent changes in the GVA standard itself.
