About this talk

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are rapidly expanding in logistics environments, as manufacturers seek to achieve safety, productivity and cost-saving goals. Technical innovation is fueling AMR expansion, particularly from gains in AI and data management that can process massive, uninterrupted streams of data for reliable operations. This session will discuss the main protocols used in connected manufacturing environments to optimize AMR coordination, scalability and reliability. It will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of DDS, MQTT and OPC UA in AMR environments, where the dependence on low-latency, fault tolerance, and efficient data distribution is critical. The webinar will include audience Q&A.
