  • Accelerate O365 Integration with Okta Recorded: Sep 14 2021 36 mins
April George, Solution Engineer, Okta & Ravi Jayaprakash, Sr Solutions Engineer, Okta.
Migrating to Office 365 can present many challenges. One of the greatest is the problem of identity. How do you easily connect your existing users, groups and other Exchange/Lync information in Active Directory to Office 365, and keep it up to date? Active Directory environments can be complex and often contain incorrect or inconsistent data. If you are working with Microsoft or one of their partners to migrate to Office 365, you may be advised to go through a lengthy cleanup or consolidation of Active Directory. Migrating to Office 365 requires you to understand and resolve issues with Active Directory—otherwise, you can expect delays in decommissioning expensive on-premises systems.

Join our session to learn how Okta’s cloud identity service can be used to accelerate and simplify your Office 365 deployment while increasing overall security.

With increasingly distributed workforces and the rise in identity-based attacks, identity has become the de facto perimeter for organizations today. Identity is the foundation of a zero-trust architecture, as you need to ensure the right people have the right level of access, on the right device, to the right resource, in the right context. Learn how a comprehensive, identity-first security strategy can tie the complexities of protecting people and assets together in a seamless experience.
  • Okta and AWS: Making it Easier to Use Workforce Identity on AWS Recorded: Sep 1 2021 35 mins
Unni Ravindranathan, Director Of Product Management, Okta & Ron Cully, Principal Product Manager AWS
As the world’s new work-from-home reality has multiplied user identities and cloud projects, IT teams are often spending more and more time managing AWS users, accounts, and roles. But using Okta to manage AWS resources allows you to leverage existing credentials and give an entire workforce—wherever they are, whatever device they’re using—the access they need to their AWS resources at every point in the employee lifecycle.

Over the past year, AWS and Okta have been working closely together to deepen integrations designed to help customers leverage Okta's Universal Directory and Workforce Identity products with AWS native access management capabilities.

With Okta for AWS, IT teams and developers are able to:

    ● Spend less time and effort managing AWS users, accounts, and roles
    ● Automate assignment of AWS entitlements
    ● Provide dynamic access that evolves across the employee lifecycle, with all the changes in your HR system of record automatically flowing to Okta and AWS
    ● Enable developers to use the native AWS CLI v2 tool; they can sign-in via their Okta credentials and be presented with a step-up challenge with Okta MFA
    ● Comply with your industry security certifications and regulations, if any

This webinar will highlight how you can leverage these new capabilities to connect identities inside Okta to AWS and use them to manage access across all AWS accounts and AWS SSO-integrated applications. Join us to learn how to centralize AWS access control, simplify administration, and accelerate your cloud migration with Okta and AWS.
