About this talk

The Digital Twin Consortium Infrastructure Working Group assists the property, construction and infrastructure industries deliver standardized definitions, protocols and methodologies to enable the creation and application of precise, knowledge-rich digital twins that replicate, simulate and evaluate the physical twin. With limited interoperability throughout the lifecycle and confusion in the market created by a lack of standardization, Digital Twin Consortium is building the ecosystem to solve these challenges. Although BIM adoption is on the rise, construction productivity is falling. Digital Twins are poised to disrupt the infrastructure sector – from construction and real estate management to roads and transit. Learn more about how the industry is coalescing to define the semantics required to describe a digital twin used for infrastructure development, identify standards gaps and requirements and build a use case library. Members of the consortium, which is open to all businesses, universities and government agencies, drive deeper understanding of how the infrastructure sector can utilize digital twins to enable new ways of doing business and create new opportunities. Join the webinar to learn more about the Digital Twin Consortium Infrastructure Working Groups goals, roadmap, and current work in progress.
