How to Leverage the Virtual Twin Experience in Real-life; With Industry Examples

In order to identify strategies for bringing carbon emissions under control, one of the first steps we need to take as a technology community is to measure the actual emissions. Emissions caused by Scope 1 (fossil fuel burning) and Scope 2 (electricity consumed during production) are relatively easy to measure. 
 
Unfortunately, measuring Scope 3 emissions has presented a major challenge. Scope 3 emissions are important because they make up 80% of all carbon output during the manufacturing process.
