About this talk

A property management portfolio is made up of physical buildings. The planning, budgeting, design, construction and operation of these physical buildings are the main challenges, but the manner in which this is performed is changing in parallel with every other business: it is going digital in order to stay competitive. A property management portfolio now has to be made up of physical and virtual buildings; the virtual being a digital twin of the physical and representative of the evolution of the physical through all phases in its lifecycle. Why is this important? How does it happen? Who makes it happen? What will be the impact on property portfolio managers? These questions, and more, will be answered in the context of Microsoft’s journey to develop a Digital Twin approach.
