Since the start of the Digital Twin Consortium, the Technology, Terminology & Taxonomy Working Group (3T) has taken a foundational role in collaboration with industry verticals to address the confusion in the marketplace and value proposition around Digital Twins and enabling technologies.
3T achievements include a glossary with a comprehensive definition that identifies the fundamental components, mechanisms, and value of Digital Twins. Continuing its growth trajectory, the 3T Working Group has further evolved by providing a reference architecture framework that serves as a blueprint for domain-specific reference implementations. 3T sub-groups provide deliverables guiding stakeholders with lifecycle-focused lenses around Security and Trustworthiness, Business Maturity, and an extensible Platform Stack architecture.
