About this talk

This session will describe how smart factories can achieve digital transformation by applying various Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques, focusing on the key metrics used to measure success. Three use cases for AI in industrial environments—wind turbine manufacture, soft drink bottling, and drone-based logistics—will be used to show how AI effectiveness can be measured. Additionally, various metrics, measurement methodologies, and reporting formats for the AI performance data will be explored. Through the application of the technologies shown, the impact of AI on improving manufacturing quality, productivity, cost, efficiency, and safety can be measured and optimized. This presentation is a part of our ongoing webinar series -- Breaking Boundaries: The Future of Digital Transformation.
