About this talk

In 2017, the NotPetya attack impacted tens of thousands of individuals, organizations, and business in 65 different countries around the world, with estimated losses as high as $10 billion. NotPetya was not the first nationwide attack funded and orchestrated by a government, but it exemplified the potential damage that nation-state attacks can cause. Today nation-state attacks are a serious and growing threat that Service Providers simply cannot ignore. They need to adjust their security strategies to protect against new types of attacks, including large-scale Terabit attacks and multiple low volume floods that are orchestrated concurrently. Join us to discuss the chaos and damage behind nation-state and nationwide attacks, and how service providers can be prepared for them.
