About this talk

For a number of years with the onset of the digital age, adjusters have already been applying new technologies to deliver innovative solutions for their customers and have been using technology such as video calls and drones. However, as a result of Covid 19 we as a nation have had to change to a ‘virtual’ world overnight and where video calls were used by adjusters just to enhance the service provided, it instantly became the only ‘tool in the bag’. With the lockdown restrictions now easing and the options available widening, this forced period of technology replacing a face to face visit, has provided chance to reflect on whether virtual visits are the future. Join Helena Evans and Trish Hume as they look to fill out that tool bag again by exploring: the change to virtual visits and overcoming the difficulties the new site visit rules and complications therein the phase back to the ‘new normal’ the future of loss adjusting post the recent outbreak of Covid-19 NOTE: This webinar has been made available by the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) solely for the use and convenience of the viewer.
