About this talk

All of us are aware of climate change across the globe and it is generally accepted that this is caused by global warming through carbon emissions. If we are to maintain an acceptable environment for as long as possible we must seek to reduce these emissions. The buildings that we live, work and play in are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions. This session will look at how this effects new build and refurbishment work, principles of sustainable design and their practical application based upon Smithers Purlsow’s many years of experience in the field.
