About this talk

Leosteam is able to manage access to Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Another thing we help with is providing access to graphics-intense applications. The hardware needed to run those applications is expensive, so instead of buying the hardware themselves, companies set up pools of shared hardware and then use Leostream to manage access using one of the many high-performance display protocols we support. Customers leverage our Leostream Gateway to provide access to network isolated resources, whether that’s a private network or public cloud instances tucked in a virtual private cloud. Other vendors have gateway products, too, but I guarantee you that none of theirs have as many options for how to connect users to their desktops. Leostream supports in-browser connections, as well as RDP, NoMachine, HP Remote Boost, and our latest integration NICE DCV, which is a great protocol if you want to run in AWS as it’s built into their compute licensing fees. Another trend we’re seeing is the move to the public cloud. Because of Leostream’s native support for on-prem and public cloud environments, it’s easy for our customers to migrate between platforms without changing the end-user experience. And, we all know, that end user experience can make or break a deployment. But, really, what all of these points boil down to is the last one. Leostream's main mission is to enable emerging technologies. Right now, that’s the cloud and Leostream supports that in spades. Who knows what that technology will be next, but I guarantee Leostream will support it when it arrives.
