In 2019, Texas created an information sharing and analysis organization (ISAO) to provide a forum for state agencies, local governments, public and private institutions of higher education, and the private sector to share information regarding cybersecurity threats, best practices, and remediation strategies. The TxISAO is currently working on enhancing its means of disseminating information to all interested organizations, and reported threats are researched by various members including the Department of Information Resources and the Texas A&M University System.
