Focus on the core CMR offering and AI implemented to improve workflow, decrease processing time and enhance diagnostic power. Speakers Steffen Petersen is a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Queen Mary University of London and a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, Barts Health NHS Trust. He is President-Elect of the European Society of Cardiology's (ESC) European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI). Dr Nay Aung is an NIHR academic clinical lecturer at Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He is accredited with an EACVI Level-3 certification for CMR and a BSCCT Level-2 certification for cardiovascular CT. He was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine President’s Prize and EuroCMR Young Investigator award for his PhD project. Dr. Alborz Amir-Khalili is the Lead Machine Learning Software Engineer at Circle Cardiovascular Imaging. He has been leading the development of data driven machine learning algorithms for automatic classification and segmentation of cardiovascular MR and CT image data at Circle for the past two years. He is the recipient of the 2014 Young Scientist Award from the Medical Image Analysis and Computer-Assisted Interventions (MICCAI) Society for his PhD work on image segmentation.
