Security’s ability to capture mainstream headlines has risen exponentially since the Equifax breach and more recently by the Colonial ransomware attack. However, the increased awareness in cybersecurity’s impact on our daily lives has proved to be a double-edged sword for security leaders and practitioners as more the layperson, cybersecurity is often wrapped in fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD). This FUD can spread into the C-suite and the Board and prove to be limiting in the way security is perceived in the enterprise. Join us as we explore how security leaders can shift this narrative and by reducing the FUD associated with cybersecurity from the top-down can improve security posture enterprise-wide.
