Deep Resilience Part 2: Tools for Women in Business

Since the COVID pandemic began, forward thinking female leaders have been changing the game in every sector and every industry, across the globe. But women are also 250% more likely to leave the workplace as compared to their male peers at this time.

In order for a working woman to capitalize on the potential for massive growth that this unique moment in time affords, she needs to be able to show up and bring her voice forward, even when the going gets tough. She needs to be able to source energy on demand, to step out of survival mode, and to cultivate an authentic sense of hope. And for that, she needs deep resilience.

This three-part workshop series is designed to help you build a solid foundation of personal and professional resilience, so that you can make a lasting impact without burning out.

PART 2: Step out of Survival Mode – In this session you will learn:
In this session you will learn:
• which of your most predictable self-sabotage patterns hold the keys to your sanity and your success
• how to tell the difference between situations that simply require more grit… and those that require letting go
• what it means to develop the ability to re-center under pressure – and how to do it

Each of our three Deep Resilience sessions is designed to stand alone. But the practices, strategies and approaches will also build upon one another. We recommend watching all three, and/or joining us for our full day intensive this month!

  • Leading with Guts & Grace in Times of Uncertainty: Tips for Women in Business Recorded: Dec 3 2020 82 mins
    LeeAnn Mallorie
Leadership can be exhausting in times of uncertainty – especially when your project, your initiative or your very presence is challenging to the status quo. When you are a woman in business, and you are working hard to make a positive impact inside your organization, it’s easy to start ignoring your body and intuition, in order to get things done. This unconscious choice may help to create wins in the short run… but in the long run the same strategy can sap your energy and even become a career-limiting move.

In this interactive session, LeeAnn Mallorie shares lessons and mindfulness tools from her book Guts & Grace: A Woman’s Guide to Full-Bodied Leadership. Together we will explore how internalized barriers can block your effective participation on a team, and uncover ways that even seasoned female leaders unintentionally derail their own success.

    You will learn:
    - The biggest missing piece in most corporate women’s leadership training programs, and how to address it in your personal leadership approach.
    - The critical and surprising role your physical body can play in your career success.
    - Three common habits that most women tend to overuse at work, why it’s critical to transform them, and how to start making change immediately.

As a takeaway, you will leave this session with practical, embodied leadership practices that realign you with the wisdom of your body, restore your native superpowers, and replenish your energy, so that you can make an even more meaningful impact in 2021 – without burning out.

The demands of the COVID pandemic have asked leaders and organizations to innovate quickly in order to stay afloat. Even under the best circumstances, this type of rapid response is challenging. But in our current context of fear, stress, physical exhaustion and wavering mental health, it can feel even harder.

Right now, the higher the pressure in your industry, the more your leaders will need to create psychologically safe and resilient environments to enable their team members to bring their best ideas forward at work.

In this brief webinar, LeeAnn Mallorie draws on over 15 years of experience training leaders at all levels across a wide array of industries to explore the question: how can company leaders create the necessary levels of psychological safety to support company-wide innovation in times of disruption… and what may get in the way?
