About this talk

Because of Amazon S3’s flexibility and performance, a growing number of organizations use it as the object store for files uploaded by application users. Since these files may come from external sources and can eventually enter an environment where they become executable, uploading to S3 could become a vector for virus payloads. In this hands-on workshop for developers, dev team managers, security engineers and solution architects, we're walking through setting up and using Antivirus for Amazon S3 by Cloud Storage Security. Join us to discover: - Multi account and multi region deployment - How to scan objects in your S3 workflow without impacting application performance and user experience - How to integrate findings of potential threats into your security operations What Do You Need to Participate? Once you have registered for the workshop, we will provide you with an account from which you can log into Antivirus for Amazon S3; there is no cost or need for you to deploy Antivirus for Amazon S3 into your own AWS environment for the workshop - just look for an email from us with the account details (i.e., the username and password) that you'll need to log into the account. The Antivirus for Amazon S3 environment will remain available for you to use and explore for a set period of time after the workshop until it expires. If you require additional assistance during the exercises of the workshop, a Google Meet room will be available with one of our team members standing by to provide support. If you are looking to set up and deploy a free trial of Antivirus for Amazon S3, you are welcome to use your own AWS account for the installation and deployment. If you’ve already deployed Antivirus for Amazon S3, all you'll need to do is open your instance and follow along as we cover the best practices and latest features you have access to. Antivirus for Amazon S3 is available in AWS Marketplace.
