Comparing Data Across Programs: CAEP Advanced Program Reports

Preparing for a CAEP Advanced Program Report takes planning, especially the first time. Seton Hall’s College of Education and Human Services had an additional challenge: six different programs, each with its own advanced accreditation requirements. They first wondered how -- or if -- they could compare and assess six unique programs. They turned to Student Learning & Licensure (formerly Via) to organize, streamline, and report on these varied outcomes and standards. They anchor their assessments in CAEP Advanced Standard A.1, and created a committee across their six programs to help them align against CAEP standards and winnow down to key aspects of their specific programs. They use Student Learning & Licensure to aggregate and disaggregate data across very different programs that were all facing their first CAEP accreditation.
