Speaker biography: John Colquhoun is a Chartered Electrical and Electronic Engineer and has over 8 years’ experience of forensic investigation in a wide range of cases throughout the UK and abroad. John carries out investigations and analysis of fires and explosions, electrical and electronic engineering failures, and personal injuries. John has also over 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in engineering, commercial and operational management roles and is certified to access onshore wind turbines, tall structures (Tower Climbing, Rescue and RF awareness) and holds an IPAF MEWP’s operator’s license. John has prepared numerous CPR compliant reports and has given evidence as an expert witness in the Royal Courts of Justice, Sheriff Courts (Scotland), a Fatal Accident Inquiry (Scotland) and Institute of Civil Engineering Arbitration.
