A review of the current common law position in respect of flooding liabilities.
With the increase in extreme weather events and the rise in claims for flood damage. We will consider the applicable case law and the legal liability issues at common law of both naturally occurring flooding due to extreme weather events and flooding occurring or exacerbated by action/inaction of the landowner/occupier.
