About this talk

In this webinar, we look ahead to prospects for 2021, drawing on our own views and on a survey of our clients. We expect 2021 to be a year of recovery in the global economy, commodity markets and key end-use sectors, underpinned by Covid vaccination and continued policy support. However, Covid-19 remains the single most significant risk to the outlook, with fiscal policy, corporate insolvency and the energy transition also major issues for the metals, mining and fertilizers industries. We expect China will announce new development targets, amid a continued economic recovery and a strengthening RMB.
