Presented by

About this talk

Leading thinkers in CRU on carbon emissions examine the introduction of EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism; the possible scale, design, timing and impact its introduction. Carbon border taxes have the potential to redraw the competitive landscape, and their impact on costs, price and trade flows are at the forefront of CRU’s analysis. A key learning is to separate what is known at this time across the most impacted commodities, and what remains less certain but will nevertheless be important, including the potential for this to be more than an EU-wide issue.
