About this talk

Caribbean Sustainable Investing Forum Lying at the intersection of agriculture, "blue economy," and both of their relationships to climate resiliency, food systems represent one of the most promising yet challenging growth opportunities in the Caribbean. While COVID-19 has exacerbated food insecurity, this challenge continues to affect the region due to its dependence on food imports and necessitates increased investments in domestic food production that are centered on small farmers. The panelists discuss the following question: how can we address food insecurity across the region and develop prospects for regional food sovereignty? Panelists: "Renata Clarke, FAO Rick Davis, LOHAS Advisors Kendell Lang, Fusion Farms Alex Borschow, Semillero Ventures Ralph Birkhoff, Island AgTech"
