About this talk

In a 2020 study about employer wellness programs by Willis Towers Watson, over 97% of company respondents committed to improving their health and wellness programs over the next few years. Changing U.S. opinion about what constitutes adequate health and healthcare has resulted in a change in the workplace. Instead of focusing on reactive medical services, employers and employees alike are increasingly seeking care that focuses on the holistic self, prioritizing emotional, financial, and mental health alongside physical health. Put simply, companies are shifting toward a “whole-person well-being” approach in their health and wellness programs. In this live talk, we will cover: - chronic conditions in the workplace by the numbers - the changing perception of health and healthcare in the last decade - what whole-person well-being in the workplace looks like
