About this talk

This show addresses the realities of the 21st-century labor market and provides some emerging strategies that you can adopt in response. Join Ann Rockley and her special guest, Saul Carliner, as they take a look at key factors affecting employment now and into the future including such questions as: 1) The social contract around employment is changing. How does this affect me and what can I do about it? 2) The job search is increasingly transactional and technology-driven. How does that work? What can I do to impress the AI and algorithms? 3) How do I respond to constant changes in the employment landscape for long-term career stability? Saul Carliner is a Professor of Educational Technology at Concordia University. Also an industry consultant, he conducts program and organizational evaluations, and workshops on communication, training, and related management topics for clients around the globe.
