OCP members Asperitas and ITrenew have joined forces to integrate individual OCP accepted products. The Asperitas AIC24 is an immersion cooling tank solution compliant to the OCP immersion cooling requirement. 

In 2020 Asperitas submitted the immersion optimised cassette to OCP. Asperitas and ITrenew will be showcasing a fully integrated solution based on this standard and with the Sesame by ITrenew circular solutions. The solution will be listed on the Sustainability Solutions marketplace and is offering a very high energy efficiency, with minimal non-IT energy, to be warm water cooled and deliver a high output, making free cooling an option in any climate and heat reuse feasible. Integrated this solution will offer a high density environment with 72 nodes that can be cooled with 45 degrees Celsius in the facility without any fans or pumps. The presentation will include insight in the OCP qualification process, optimisation and test results.

The effort to open the platform was not trivial. Sri and Jay will address the challenges of opening a platform which there are many areas of work to be done from the host firmware to coreboot and more. That look back will be followed with a conversation about what the platform can do today, including time to garner feedback and comments from the community.
