2023 Proxy Season Review

The purpose of the annual Forum is to allow all types of stakeholders to discuss the proxy voting advisory and research industry and its Best Practice Principles (BPP).

The BPP Oversight Committee (BPP OC) annual review of the BPP and the public compliance statements of each BPP Signatory will be presented and discussed at the Forum with investors, listed companies, regulators and stakeholders.

The Forum is convened by the BPP OC as mandated by the 2019 Best Practice Principles for Providers of Shareholder Voting Research & Analysis. The five members of the BPP Group (BPPG) represent: Federated Hermes EOS, Glass Lewis, ISS,  Minerva Analytics, PIRC.

Australia 2022 AGM season preview

Left unabated, the global costs of climate inaction are equivalent to losing between 5 and 20% of global gross domestic product each year, now and forever. Achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN SDGs requires a shift in investments of US$5 to US$7 trillion per year until 2030, with climate-related costs of inaction valued at US$1 trillion per year.
With this in mind, Minerva has launched a stakeholder survey for our clients and the wider investment community about their individual climate stewardship preferences.
