Preventing CyberCrime by Relying on SSL Protocol

Presented by

Larry Seltzer; Security Analyst

About this talk

At the heart of almost all cybercrime is the technique of social engineering, which usually means impersonating someone else. The solution to this problem is comprehensive use of SSL, which provides strong authentication of parties to communication on a network. For good measure, SSL also encrypts transmissions, protecting users from eavesdropping.
