A recent study by OnePlanetCapital found that almost a tenth of investors currently hold ESG investments, and the number is expected to double this year alone. As society becomes increasingly concerned by questions of sustainability and equity, investors want to be able to make investment decisions that reflect their convictions and support causes they care about.
However, in the absence of any widespread benchmarks or definitions, wealth advisors need to drive communications with investors, delivering education and data to ensure transparency and build trust.
