Back in 2017, Design Principal Oen Hammonds and his colleague took on a side project at IBM that quickly snowballed into a career defining achievement. Initially tasked with redesigning the recruitment, training and onboarding journey for IBM’s design program, Oen soon found himself sitting in a boardroom across from IBM’s Senior HR team, who were intrigued by the idea of applying design thinking principles to the employee experience.
