About this talk

Within the ever-growing and changing world of cybersecurity, networking is one aspect that has been important over the years for many professionals. Networking in the sense of communicating, collaborating, and supporting each other and not in the switch, router, and Layer 2 or 3 sense. This particular trait has been influential within the foundation of the (ISC)² chapters. The concepts of Connect, Educate, Inspire, and Secure are the pillars of the chapter's foundation and are crucial to its success. In the first of a new series of webinars, James McQuiggan, CISSP and Chapter President of Central Florida Chapter, which received the 2019 Chapter Recognition Award will discuss the importance of these pillars and how it relates to the Central Florida Chapter. James will also share his insights into the chapter program and the importance of it to our communities. James McQuiggan, CISSP, is a 20 year security veteran and a Security Awareness Advocate for KnowBe4. James is also a part time faculty professor at Valencia College in the Engineering, Computer Programming & Technology Division.
