About this talk

Equal pay legislation has been around for decades. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has (for now) shifted away from collecting pay data as a means to address equity issues, although the federal government remains committed to pay equity as a strategic initiative. In 2021, employers in California and Colorado have contended with new pay equity obligations, which now has pay and hours-worked data reporting requirements and in some cases requires its employers to include compensation and benefit information in certain job postings. For many employers, pay equity is not only a compliance issue, but also is a social responsibility issue that can define an organization's commitment to equal pay for equal work. Join us and get critical insights and potential strategies you can use to meet your pay equity goals.
