Investors often use past returns as the holy grail for picking funds, gravitating towards top performing - 1st quartile funds basis historical short-term returns. This often ends up being counterproductive as recent top performers may not necessarily, be the top performers tomorrow due to several reasons not limited to style/size headwinds, stock specific reasons, style drift, manager changes etc. Investors tend repeat this cycle again switching out of recently invested funds that are now underperforming and reinvesting into the new recent winners. largest and most influential players. It provides data on 40,000 companies with ratings on 13,000 of
those, as well as monitor 172 countries.
