Energy consumption and sustainable 5G networks

Multi-access edge computing (MEC) infrastructure allows communications service providers (CSPs) to bring services delivery closer to the end user. However, designing and deploying an MEC cloud infrastructure also presents a challenge—hundreds of remotely located clusters spanning multiple, smaller datacenters still need to be managed from a central location.
