What Cybersecurity Looks Like in the Post COVID-19 World

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge effect on human life across the globe. It has caused massive, rapid social changes in societies in just about every country and at every level. It has also impacted the operations of companies from large multinational enterprises to small mom and pop operations. Mandated business closings, travel bans, stay at home orders and other government edicts have required businesses to react with unprecedented speed and agility to this new operating environment or perish. Life is slowly returning to normal, at least in some areas as the restrictions are eased and the pandemic’s worst effects abate. However, there are likely to be lasting changes to the way people work and learn due to its truly global scale. These changes will have to be reflected in the IT services and infrastructure that support these organizations. In this webinar, we will examine some possible structural changes in the corporate world such as continued or permanent work from home arrangements, increased use of services such as video conferencing which up to now, have mostly been used for marketing and sales presentations, and the continued dissolution of a hard network perimeter designed around office locations.
