About this talk

Traditional cybersecurity models have relied on agents to perform critical security functions. However, the increasing complexity of cloud environments has resulted in an exponential growth in the number of security agents deployed and created unique challenges. Operationally, agents are tedious to integrate, deploy, and manage. From a security standpoint, they lack complete workload visibility and can even expand the attack surface themselves. Many organizations report less than 50% cloud coverage for their agent deployments. These limitations have given rise to a next-generation approach to securing the cloud without the downside of agents. With the advent of agentless security solutions with broad and deep analysis, DevOps and Security teams now have the capability for 100% visibility with improved time-to-value. In Episode 2 of Wiz’s ‘Envisioning a New Security for the Cloud Era,’ we’ll dive into: - The current challenges and future role of agent-based cloud security solutions - How agentless solutions provide complete visibility across cloud environments, including VMs, Containerized, and more - How security leaders can realize improved time-to-value, organizational buy-in, and enable organizational innovation
