About this talk

The increased use of cloud technologies has corresponded with increased risk and attack surfaces. The rise of dynamic and ephemeral environments within the cloud has added new complexity and created unique and unpredictable interactions. Organizations often lack maturity in cloud security and development practices, thereby increasing security risks. Cloud-native applications require a fundamental re-think of your security strategy. Security teams need to think beyond siloed stacks and agent-based approaches that limit visibility and fail to identify toxic combinations. Security needs to be approached as a continuum across the entire software development lifecycle that builds partnerships across teams, reduces risk, and enables innovation. Organizations will need to embrace the new security environment sooner rather than later and in Episode 3 of Wiz’s ‘Envisioning a New Security for the Cloud Era,’ we’ll wrap the series up with a focus on how companies can evaluate and adapt their security practices to fully embrace the cloud era. Join the talk to learn about: -Commonly exploited vulnerabilities that come with expanded cloud operations -Methods threat actors use to infiltrate insecure clouds -How companies can create a modern security posture for their cloud
