About this talk

When it comes to identity and access management, how does one create a more efficient approach to core IAM tasks: provisioning, certifying and deprovisioning? Saviynt Chief Trust Officer Jim Routh shared insights on how to build a compelling business case for an IAM upgrade. In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Routh also discussed: -What's wrong with the standard business case for an IAM upgrade; -How to create a more efficient approach to IAM; -How to reduce the need for people to make some of the more tactical IAM decisions. Routh is currently on the Boards of Supply Wisdom, GrammaTech, Savvy, Accountable Digital Identity Association and the Global Resiliency Federation. He is the former Board Chair for the Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center, where he served for five years and former Board member for the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center.
