Results - 100 Enterprise Data Storage Experts Surveyed

Blog – Modern Approaches to Data Storage 100 Storage Customers Surveyed Between October 2021 and January 2022, Gatepoint Research invited selected IT, Data, Analytics and Storage executives to participate in a survey themed Modern Approaches to Data Storage. There have been 101 participants to date. Respondents represent executive management, senior decision-makers, and highly qualified experts: 11% hold the title CxO or are VPs, 17% are directors, 34% are managers, and 38% are practitioners and other experts (engineers, data scientists, data architects and analysts, and storage administrators). Data, the heartbeat of business, can grow to unmanageable volumes quickly, but organizations that can quickly leverage data sets to inform real time decisions and actions are way ahead of the competition. What are organizations doing to make the best use of the data on hand? This survey asked respondents to report: How much data is their organization managing? What kind of storage do they use? Is their organization’s data stored on-premise or in the cloud? And what storage network infrastructure(s) are in place? What challenges do they have working with data? And what would improve their ability to manage/store/process/analyze data?
