About this talk

GigaOm published its first analysis of the phishing detection and prevention market in February 2020. Since then, the enterprise landscape has changed significantly, and many businesses have transformed their practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Front page news stories like the August 4th Twilio data breach that occurred as a result of SMS phishing make it evident that phishing is no longer simply an email issue but instead targeted at all enterprise messaging channels, productivity and collaboration suites, conferencing, social media, support chat functions, and ticketing systems. Attackers exploit all of these targets to breach an identity so they can gain access to applications, systems, and data. Join Zimperium and GigaOm for a discussion about what has changed about approaches to protecting enterprises against phishing, and why it’s important to recognize these changes, both in threat and approach. We’ll hear directly from lead analyst and author of the "GigaOm Radar for Comprehensive Anti-Phishing Solutions,” Paul Stringfellow.
