About this talk

As enterprises try to accelerate their journey to the cloud, the transition presents various challenges to application architectures, deployment timeframes, and operating processes. In order to make the cloud truly work for the business, organizations need to invest in their migration strategy. Unfortunately, moving to the cloud presents a whole new way to work, deploy, and manage your applications, which can be overwhelming for many organizations. To combat this, the Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) has been designed to simplify the migration process, without compromising on security or control. OCVS allows customers to move VMware workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) without modification. Customers gain scale and agility while maintaining continuity with existing VMware-based tools, processes, and policies. Oracle is announcing new features, functions, and validations that continue to improve the customer experience for operating VMware in the cloud.
