About this talk

Kubernetes has become the de facto standard for hosting cloud-native APIs. When done right on Kubernetes, you can achieve application resiliency, elastic scalability, easier upgrades and maintenance, and complete automation. But, as you move to Kubernetes, you can’t just use the same architecture you used for VMs or other container-based approaches. How you develop, deploy, and manage your APIs, and your API management architecture, all change. You also need to accept the new reality that APIs and API management are distributed and federated. It needs to be a part of your architecture going forward. Join two API and Kubernetes experts as they walk you through the key criteria and different architectures you need to consider as you move to Kubernetes. This session will include examples of the best practices you should be using, how companies used WSO2’s various open-source and SaaS options in each approach, and how different technologies fit together to support a truly federated API hybrid cloud architecture. In this webinar, we will cover: DURING THE WEBINAR, WE WILL COVER: - Architectural considerations when shifting your APIs and API management to Kubernetes - How to design cloud-native APIs on top of Kubernetes - The different API management architectures to consider with Kubernetes-based data planes and control planes, and how they all fit together - How the Choreo Connect microgateway works with Kubernetes RECOMMENDED FOR: - API product managers - Software architects and engineers
