He is responsible for the development of their legal information database, which offers digital versions of the reports published since 1865 along with many other cases and legislation. In 2016 this was migrated to Mark Logic in a development carried out by 67 Bricks. In 2021 ICLR launched Case Genie, an AI-driven search facility that analyses a legal text uploaded by the user and recommends relevant and linked cases of which the user may not be aware. Paul will be discussing this and other recent developments and the challenges facing ICLR in an increasingly competitive environment.
